High School Equivalency Classes
The high school equivalency test preparatory classes are offered to Georgia residents who have not completed high school. The classes are free with a dedicated faculty to provide adult literacy instruction to students. Classes are offered on a flexible schedule, including morning and evening classes and online or in person classes. In person classes are at the Clarkston, Rockdale, and Newton campuses. On-site GED® and HiSET® testing is also provided.
The Adult Education Division also offers the chance to earn a high school equivalency credential and a Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in a high-demand occupation in as little as six months through the CareerPlus program. Students enrolled in this pathway must be at least 18 years old and meet other eligibility requirements.
